This is a bug fix release - it addresses a problem that caused realtime cassette audio output from MC-202 Hack to the MC-202 to default to the first sequence that was sent to the MC-202; any modifications to that first sequence would not correctly get sent. This has now been corrected. Also, on the Mac, this release is now Intel compatible only.

Hello. I'm creating MIDI files in Reason by playing live from a MIDI controller. I see in the Hack's "sequences" window that the Gate and Step values are odd and variable numbers, due to the "live" element. When I send this data to the 202, does the 202 not quantize the incoming data to values it can handle? My results are very poor. And if I check the "pad to bar" option, the tempo slows way down. What am I doing wrong here? Does the MIDI data have to be edited in Reason or the Hack to 202-friendly values for this method to work? Thanks!

Hello, and first thanks for this crazy tool !
i'm planing to buy 202 hack, so i've downloaded the demo, everything seems to run fine but the calibration. After auto tries, i've tryied in manual mode, the "current freq" seems to be too low, i'm about 1800 and the field can not let me go that low, it stop to 2300. My question is : i've the "mary" thing onto my 202 after the second step of calibrating process, and i just want to use 202 Hack to create sequence or import midi to the hardware via the soft. As the "mary" file have been loaded fine to the hardware, maybe i can also import midi and transmit it to the 202 ? i'll not import 202 pattern onto the software, i just need to export from the soft to the hardware. Does this will work ? As the "mary" pattern have been loaded with success ?
thanks in advance. Bastian.

I can't get the demo to work, hoping for some advice. I did have discussions with Dan about this in the past when I first downloaded the demo, and he tried various things but with no success. That was on Win XP. I tried again when I first got Windows 7, but same problem. I tried again when I got a different sound card, same problem.

It crashes around 1 second after I switch on the audio: "MC 202 Hack Demo has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution". When it crashes, "MC 202 Hack Demo" remains in the Windows audio mixer and can't be removed without a reboot of Windows. I have tried different compatibility settings with no success. It's a real pity, because I would love to buy and use this programme with my 202.

I have a Novation X STation (Novation USB Asio driver) and Delta 1010.
