Can Audio Plugin Player Be Installed Twice and Used For Separate plugins.
  • I think the product is great, but I could use it for another plugin at the same time. Upon purchase of another copy of Audio Plugin Player, can this be done? Say for instance, is it possible if the second app is installed in another location and not applications. Any help or ideas on this?
  • Yes it's possible - but it's not "officially" supported, OK?  And you don't need to purchase another copy.  :-)

    To make it happen:
    1. Copy the app (in the Finder, select the app, then do File/Duplicate.  You'll now have two apps in your Applications folder, Audio Plugin Player and Audio Plugin Player copy.
    2. Control-click on the copy, and select Show Package Contents.  This will open a new window, showing a folder called Contents in it.  Open that up, and look for a file called Audio Plugin Player.mxf.  Rename that to Audio Plugin Player copy.mxf.  The important thing here is that the file name (before the .mxf suffix) has to *exactly* match the name of the copied app from step 1.
    3. Close the window that showed the Contents folder.  You should now be able to run each app separately.

Let me know how you make out!
  • Cool ;)
