Garageband trouble

I purchased the audio plugin player because I thought that it was the perfect way to play my software synths in Garageband. But, it will not work! In Garageband preferences it says that 2 midi inputs is detected, but when I try to record some, I can´t hear anything?

Not quite following you here - Garageband can host AudioUnit instruments on its own, why do you need Audio Plugin Player?Dan Nigrin
