O.H.M. is Jordan Trais and Kenny Stoll of Chicago. Although this is O.H.M.’s first release on Defective, Jordan has released music previously as Astrocat on Drop Bass, Communique, and Big Bam Boom Records; he has also scored music for several films. Although influenced by “all kinds of music”, O.H.M. cites the sounds of Detroit electro as their main inspiration.
With a multi-faceted approach that covers several different techno styles, O.H.M. fits in well with Defective’s aim to melt the boundaries that divide current electronic dance music. TB303-laced throughout, Entropy has something for everyone, from acid to hard trance to melodic to experimental funk…
