Trybet is Baltimore’s Mike Parker & Aric Rist. On the electronic and experimental music scene since 1983, they have previously released music ranging from bone-crunching industrial noise to aggro beat, angst-laden dance. Using the experience built up with these projects, along with the array of electronic gadgets they have amassed with which to produce sound, Mike & Aric now bring us Trybet.

With a name derived from merging tribal rhythms with Tibetan samples, Trybet serves up a helping of modern, propulsive rhythms and beats fused with the dark, moody sounds of ancient analog synths. One listen and you’ll appreciate why Aric & Mike like to cite “European space music” as one of their major influences…
